To support the Shawnee Mission East High School girls basketball program, its players and coaches. Our goal is to provide year-round financial support to the program to ensure its success. We strive to create a winning environment for the players, coaches, students, parents and fans in the SME community.
The Lady Lancer Booster Club was established with the purpose of serving all of the girls basketball players in the program in a way that will enhance their overall high school experience and make a lasting positive impact on their lives. Our Booster Club performs a variety of activities that will aid the girls basketball program financially, so that we may run a first-class program and serve our Lancer community proudly!
Below you will find a list of primary fundraisers that the Booster Club organizes each year. We are in need of enthusiastic volunteers to help support our goals and to continue to build excitement for our program. The list of duties is included as well.
In addition to the primary fundraisers listed above, every few years we may introduce a “Capital Campaign” which is aimed at generating incremental funds used for specific purchases that the program needs.

A Message from Coach Lawrence:
"A well organized and operated booster club is key for the success of our girls basketball program at Shawnee Mission East High School. We want our players to experience success both off and on the court. Together, with the booster club, we pledge to use all of our resources to give the players an opportunity to develop into an outstanding basketball players, students, and citizens. The Lady Lancer Booster Club plays a pivotal role in serving our teams, and I am excited to work with each and every one of you throughout the process!"
